1. Worked beautifully!

   I was recently on a backpacking trip in the Ozarks in Arkansas and did 6 river crossings with my new Wiggy's Waders. It had rained the night before so there were some crossings where the water got above my knees. I was the only one on the trip whose feet stayed dry! I'm 5'9" and 190lbs. I wear a size 8 1/2 wide, Lowa backpacking boot (Baffin Pro) and the size large waders fit well. They were easy to take on and off. The Medium size would have been too small. I had no problems with the integrity of the soles of the Waders and I didn't find them particularly slippery either. I'm not sure if I was securing the straps correctly, but I had to make the straps and the drawstrings pretty tight around my thighs for them to stay up. Most of the time I had to hold them up by hand. Maybe suspender straps to connect to the Wader's quick release strap is the way to go, so my hands will be free to hold my trekking poles. I haven't messed with them since I got back from the trip though. Overall, they're great and I'm so thankful Wiggy's makes these. They were the envy of the group and I think one of the guys on the trip ordered a pair on his way home!

2. Great Waders for Hiking

   If you do wilderness hiking with stream crossings you should have these in your backpack. Light and easy to put on/take off.
   I do a lot of hiking in the Smokies and there can be 10-15 stream crossings on a day hike that are up to 2' deep. These are perfect. They slide on and off over my boots quickly. Because I keep my boots on i get great foot protection while crossing the creeks. They also dry off quickly, unlike my water shoes.
   Great grip on the slippery, moss covered rocks.
   I have had mine a couple years and use them on most hikes. Still look brand new and zero leaks. When they do wear out, i'll be ordering another pair.

4. Great Lightweight Wader

   Hello there.
   I just thought that I would drop you a line to let you know how valuable your Wiggy’s Waders are. I frequently hike and backpack here in the mountains of East Tennessee and Western North Carolina. One thing that most of my routes have in common are stream crossings that are a bit too much for rock hopping. In warmer months, I generally just wade through and get my feet wet, but many months of the year the water is below 50 along with the air temperature. It is those times that your waders really do save the day. Gone are the days of taking my shoes off and making a freezing crossing or wearing fishing waders to get across. Now I just reach in my pack and slide them over my shoes and come out dry on the other side. Many of the crossings here are less than thirty feet wide. When hiking with a group, we’ve discovered that one person can cross with the waders, roll them up and throw them across for the next person. I’ve been able to get six people across with dry feet with one set of waders. Every time someone gets to try them out, they always ask where I got them. I own many of your products, and it’s hard to pick a favorite. When the water is deep, the waders move to the top of my list....that day.
   
   I even have your waders being used on one of my YouTube videos.

6. keep up the good work

   Your awesome waders at work. 3rd season on them and of course they were trashed by the end of last season, but a few patches got us through this season. They sure do make crossing streams with sheep meat on your back a little nicer. Thanks again and keep up the good work.

7. Permanent part of our gear

   Hi there. I wanted to take a minute to let you know that a couple of friends and I tried the Wiggy Waders on a recent backcountry hiking trip. There was snow on the ground and it was cold and normally we would strip down and walk across with sandals on. I can’t tell you how nice it was to slip these over our boots and pants. I have to say that it felt weird to stay warm and dry walking across that knee high creek. They are now a permanent part of our gear.
