 Warranty Information

The Wiggy's sleeping bag guarantee is for a lifetime of use. If a seam opens or the Lamilite insulation deteriorates (such as losing its loft or separating, clumping in one place or another), Wiggy’s will repair or replace your bag at no charge. However, we reserve the right to examine any returned sleeping bag and will make the decision whether the return is justified depending on the appearance of the bag, demonstrating whether it has been properly cared for or shows signs of abuse.

 Product Description

Now utilizing Wiggy's advanced Boat Foot design!

The Antarctic sleeping bag is a -60° (F) bag. I believe the Antarctic model is the only -60° bag made in the world. The loft averages 10 inches, and the weight for a regular length, wide body model is 6.5 pounds. The long wide body weighs 7 pounds. Adding the Flexible Temperature Range Sleep System (FTRSS) brings the temperature range down to -80° (F).

Like the name implies, the foot end of the bag is shaped like the bow of a boat. The shape causes the Lamilite fiber to come together at the foot end of the bag increasing the insulation markedly and thereby increasing the Lamilite's ability to insulate. Then there is the hood section of the bag. It is flat to begin with, but when you start pulling the draw cord in tight the hood begins to form and a massive amount of insulation forms around your head.

The cost is no different than the standard model I have made for 26 years.

NOTE: Included stuff sack size is 13" x 24" (uncompressed)

Product Testimonials

  1. Comfort you can rely on. WORTH IT.

Spent over 700 to get it in multicam and if you have the type of leadership that support you investing in your own gear GET THIS.

Honestly thought that there's no way it could be rated to -80 F and WOW I couldn't have been more wrong.

It was -5 (with wind chill) when I got it in the mail, so I did what any rational person would do after spending too much money on gear: I used it.

Went outside my porch in shorts and sandals, worried I was gonna find out I am dumb with my money, but then I crawled into the sleeping bag and somehow just felt fine. I brought my phone and camelbak to keep me entertained/hydrated, and there was enough space for me to prop my phone up to watch some netflix as the wind howled outside my bag. What caught me off guard was that I started to get so hot I stripped down from my shorts and T-shirt to avoid sweating and even then I was STILL hot. I had to crack the zipper halfway down to let out enough heat to regulate the temperature and it stayed that way even till dusk. Woke up in the morning completely unprepared for the cold to bite at me when I emerged from the bag, and for anyone else who's learned the hard way that the temperature ratings in sleeping bags is only for you survive not comfort, this was simply INCREDIBLE. No cold aches, no shivering at night, just warmth that makes you never wanna climb out.

Simply incredible and will be passing the word around for anybody who wants a bag that can let them cold camp in winter. Gonna try to see how well this works with a bivvy to see if I can camp without a shelter.

    Keep up the good work!

  2. Wow

Thickest, warmest, and heaviest bag I've ever had. Probably twice as thick as my old military modular sleep system bag I had. Looking forward to sleeping out on the ice this winter on my fishing trips. Also came with a free pillow I wasn't expecting. Thanks Wiggy! Also impressive these days that the price stated was the price paid. No taxes, fees, shipping etc. Would definitely buy again, although I expect I won't need to.
