A NEW TESTIMONIAL
The testimonial from Sunday October 11 spurred a new one which I am
also grateful to have received.
“Absolutely Awesome story, I have had your Ultimate Thule with Over
bag for over 12 years. Used in Alaska
and Denali Base camp. Been to Mt.
Everest base camp. Used
in the desert with outer bag. I have used over 100's of times, never a zipper
problem or any issue with materials and have washed many times. All of my
friends have switched to Wiggy's bags because of mine. On a camping trip to the
San Juan mountains in Colorado, ran into a couple who had just purchased
"Top of the line" North Face down bags and they were sure going
to be toasty warm on this February night. We decided to camp together that
night! While sitting around the camp we discussed their gear and experience
regarding camping in the winter! The guy said that carrying the two Wiggy's
bags was crazy because his $800.00 down bag was the best in the world! He
actually stated that Wiggy's must use inferior materials because of the 2 bags;
I just smiled and said politely "time will tell!" We decided to take
a little hike before dinner, and it started snowing a slushy snow and the
temperature dropped down rapidly .We returned to find our bags were pretty wet
from the slushy snow. We had been sitting on them earlier we all turned in for
the night. We could hear the gal really worried because she couldn't get warm
in her wet bag. Finally she started crying and was freezing. I offered my
Wiggy's bag and they guy just said that if her $800.00 dollar bag couldn't do
my bags sure wouldn't or couldn't do it. After about 30 more minutes of crying
and freezing the gal said I want to try anything and asked me if I could try my
Wiggy's bags. I exchanged the bags and when I got into her bag it was freezing,
it was now -25 Degrees and getting colder! I made a bowl of
soup and hunkered down for the night. Woke up to find the tents almost
completely cover in snow. Dug out the tents started coffee and then heard the
guy ask for a cup of coffee as he had a bad night of being cold. Finally the
gal woke up and stated that she had the best night’s sleep in a long time. She
thanked me a hundred times. She asked me how I slept in her bag, and politely
stated that it was a bit cold but I was OK. The fact was I had a blazing
headache!!!!!!!!!! Anyway we dried out their bags in the beautiful morning sun.
The gal looked her husband and stated firmly that if he ever wanted to have her
go backing again he must get her a Wiggy's bag just like mine. The guy finally
admitted that he had been freezing all night long too! His bag would have been
fine if it had been completely dry!
Maybe a bit bigger, a bit heavier but worth it if it's going to
save your life and keep you warm. The two bags are so versatile and will give
you coverage from 70 to -60!!!!!!!! Plus when you only use one sleep on the
other one for additional padding!

I did not realize that the testimonial from Wolf would generate
this second testimonial, but I am very appreciative to have received it.
One recipient of Wolf’s testimonial stated that the bag probably
saved his life, which it did. There have been several other instances where the
Lamilite because of its not being affected by being wet saved other lives.
To say that hearing these stories is not gratifying is an
understatement.
