Introducing three more of the Fire Retardant (FR) items for arctic use: Insulated Head Cover, Overboots, and Mukluks.

• Exterior fabric is Nomex®
• Lining fabric is FR treated nylon taffeta
• Insulation is FR Lamilite Climashield

The insulated head cover functions exactly the same as the non-FR head cover I have made for years with one difference: it will perform at lower temperatures.

The Overboots and Mukluks have Vibram soles.

The Overboots have the same level of FR Lamilite Climashield as the insulated head cover, and if worn over our new FR insulated boots will perform to about -35° to -40° F.

The Mukluks have an extra layer of L-6 Lamilite Climashield between the Nomex shell and the FR Lamilite Climashield that will allow the wearer also wearing our new FR boot to be comfortable at a low temperature of -70° F.

I will also make FR Lamilite Climashield socks when I receive lighter weight samples.
