As you can imagine I was as pleased as punch to see it. Stonnie stated every aspect of the Lamilite socks I have written about. Whether or not he read the information on the web site or just ordered because they were suggested to him I do not know, but it was wonderful for me to hear the confirming points regardless.

What I also relished were his comments about Gore-Tex lined boots that do not work as he found out. His comments about Gore-Tex lined boots I have heard numerous times. I wonder if the employees of the Gore Company read my newsletters/commentary. If they do, they should be getting an education about the fact that the product that they sell does not work as they claim.

At what point will the manufactures of different products; footwear, hand wear, outerwear also finally get it that any material referred to as waterproof and breathable does not work.

All I know is that water and Lamilite do not function together because Lamilite is not bothered by water in any of its states.

As for the socks, every person that lives in cold climate such as Alaska, Montana, Maine, Wyoming, or where the temperature gets into the single digits should be wearing Lamilite socks. As Stonnie said, when he wears his Lamilite socks in his waterproof boots his feet still stay warm. That will hold true for the people out there that already own boots that have a waterproof membrane in them such as Gore-Tex.
