The Wiggy's sleeping bag guarantee is for a lifetime of use. If a seam opens or the Lamilite insulation deteriorates (such as losing its loft or separating, clumping in one place or another), Wiggy’s will repair or replace your bag at no charge. However, we reserve the right to examine any returned sleeping bag and will make the decision whether the return is justified depending on the appearance of the bag, demonstrating whether it has been properly cared for or shows signs of abuse.
The Ultima Thule is a -20º F (-30º C) rated mummy style bag. It is available in our four standard sizes, though I recommend the wide width due to the fact that there is double the insulation on the top half of the bag.
The addition of the FTRSS Overbag adds approximately 40° of additional protection to each bag and the temperature rating becomes -60° F (-50° C). When both bags are combined you have the Ultima Thule FTRSS.
When selecting the Boat Foot option, like the name implies, the foot end of the bag will be shaped like the bow of a boat. The shape causes the Lamilite fiber to come together at the foot end of the bag increasing the insulation markedly and thereby increasing the Lamilite's ability to insulate. Then there is the hood section of the bag. It is flat to begin with, but when you start pulling the draw cord in tight the hood begins to form and a massive amount of insulation forms around your head.
Please note that the Long Length/Regular Width size option is not available with the Boat Foot.
Interior bag color may vary.
I have been a faithful Wiggy's customer for going on 30 years. Back in the 90's I ordered an Ultralight and a Ultima Thule and was far beyond pleased with both of them. Still have the Ultralight but sold the Ultima Thule because of the spare tire I have acquired over the years. 3 weeks ago I ordered another Ultima Thule in a regular/wide body and couldn't be happier with my purchase! Have you noticed the decline in sleeping bag manufacturers over the years? Have you noticed that Wiggy's is still around and still going strong? The reason is consistency and quality! Save yourself the trouble and disappointment of purchasing from another maker and buy a Wiggy's bag!!!

I bought this bag with the intention on using it on the Appalachian Trail. I was on the Trail March2nd, 2018 and this bag was a life saver. Granted it’s a heavy bag and that is something I was ok with. We had 40mph winds and temperatures below 20 degrees. Before the wind chill was included.
I saw so many hikers beyond cold. Not me...I stayed toasty warm. I’m not a tall guy at 5’10” and weigh about 260 lbs. I was doing a night hike where it was so cold the water bottles froze. I was close to hypothermia from all the sweating I did and this bag saved my bacon. Best bag I’ve ever had.

I have had this bag over 2 years and sleep in it often. Well made, super warm, have yet to need the over bag (already purchased) during my overnights in the PNW. I use the overbag for summer nights. Saving money for the Ducksback products and the freedom shelter.
