Super Mitten
Product Description
The Super Mittens are the second warmest mittens that we carry.
They have double the insulation in the entirety of the mitten, even the gauntlet is insulated.
An Approx. temperature rating is -30 degrees F and lower.
Each pair have pile sewn to the back of the palm for cleaning or warming your face.
A draw cord is located at the end of the gauntlet, which can be tightened with a mitten covered hand or with your teeth.
- Remember that mittens are much more efficient than gloves so that should be your choice if you are in winter conditions such as +25F or lower.
- All of the shell fabrics are 3-Ply Supplex¬ nylon, which is vapor permeable.
- The palms are NovaSuede that dries soft after being wet.
- The thumbs are articulated. This allows greater dexterity.
- The lining is the same vapor permeable nylon taffeta that is used in all our sleeping bags and clothing.

SUPER MITTEN
The best cold weather mitten I’ve found, by far. A crucial component in my hunting kit. My hands stay dry. Never been so comfortable in my treestand. Gauntlets are sized large enough to easily slip over my Fossil Ridge Parka. No annoying elastic at the wrist – easy on and off. Security with the lanyard loop.

super mitts
Have tried lots of mittens attempting to keep my hands warm. Bought the super mittens. Late season elk in northwest wyoming, doing chores this morning at minus 1 plus a lovely 20 mph breeze. Hands are warm warm warm. Nothing has done this for me in sixty some years outside working and playing.

They are SUPER MITTS
They perform as described. Out in -25c in Canada. Snowing heavily. I thought it might be problematic as snow in the cuffs starting freezing. All day I had my hands in and out of mitts. Every time I put my hands back in the mitts the warmed up. Best cold weather gear I own for my hands by far. I use them on a diy mitt harness HIGHLY RECOMMEND these mitts

Wiggys fan for life
I have purchased several Wiggys items over the years- both types of overboots for my wife and I, Renegade Mitten for me, 2 sets of Super Mitten for friends, and the Antarctic Parka for my wife. My wife is tall and slim with long arms, so I called and Jerry answered the phone. He recommended a custom parka with medium sized body and large sized arms. It cost the same as a standard parka and fit my wife perfectly. Since buying her that coat (several years ago), she has never been cold. We live in the upper peninsula of Michigan and a couple of years ago it got down to -35º with windchill of -50º. She was toasty warm regardless of how long she was outside. All of the items we have purchased still look and feel brand new and there has been no degradation in performance.
My friends who have the Super Mittens had never found any gloves or mittens that kept their hands warm here in the UP. Now, their hands are never cold.

Worth It!
I live in the Northern Adirondacks and work and play in the backcountry. I have carried these mitts in my pack for years for when gloves just can't do the job. I gotta say,these mitts are the go to when it is 10, 20 or 30 below. They actually may have saved my fingers more than a few times.
