NFPA turnouts for real, but cotton/ duck , heavy boots and your Nomex “shirt” work for most things I get into. It is a safety thing. Most people’s “uniform of the day” provide neither thermal protection (hypothermia if stuck out in it, nor protection in fires, resulting in synthetics melting and increasing burns.

I've been meaning to write this for sometime. I just received my Shirt Jacket and the product is exactly what I expected. The workmanship is superb and the materials excellent. What has caught my attention with EVERY product that you have shipped to me is the piece of cardboard that you folks have added to the inside top of the box to keep the use of the dreaded razor knife from cutting into the product. NO OTHER manufacturer has ever done this. In fact, should your device penetrate and cause damage to the product, the attitude of the other manufacturers has been, "Up yours with a pitchfork, Buckwheat".
I know you receive a ton of criticism on-line from the " I've got hurt feelings" crowd. THEY ARE WRONG!! The packaging alone shows a concern for the customer. Keep up the superb job!!

I received this "shirt jacket" a few weeks ago and have wearing it every day on my morning walks and working in the yard. We have had many mornings in the single digits and this garment keeps me toasty warm. I wear only a tee shirt and thin zip up turtle neck. The jacket is bomb proof and quite light, making it a joy to wear all day. All Wiggys products are of amazing quality and this jacket is no exception!

I work at a gas plant in Wyoming and have gone thru all the major brands of FR coats, they are cheap, fall apart and don't stand up to -30 or anything close. I just purchased this jacket after a deep dive on the internet and it was one of the best purchases I have made in years. The jacket is thoughtfully designed and ruggedly built. As a "light" jacket it is an absolute beast. Perfect pockets, and the soft material on the inside of the collar prevents you from rubbing your face raw. It absolutely blows my Carhartt out of the water. I have told everyone about Wiggy's and look forward to acquiring more of their equipment and clothing. If you are on the fence don't be.

This is the third or fourth Wiggy's coat that I have purchased, and it is quickly becoming my favorite jacket. The outer material is extremely durable, a perfect work jacket. I plan on ordering a second jacket and keeping it in my car for the winter. As a first responder I can tell you that the reflective material works very well.
The pockets are excellent. The inside drop pocket is perfect for storing gloves and a hat.

Very impressed. Plenty if pockets and warmth. So far northern Nevada and Utah winters are no match. No more down jackets for me. Wind doesn't sneak in either.

Received it today,,and it was a bit larger than I anticipated to be a medium sized jacket,,but I will not return it,,the high collar should do very well if a strong breeze comes along,,nice side entry front pockets,,even has a inside drop pocket,,the 2 upper pockets should hold my personal belongings quite well since its has elasticized bindings,,glad I requested the safety reflective stripe,,Jerry Thank You,,I'll be shopping again for the sweater jacket

I have used this jacket for a year now; during harsh cold conditions primarily while logging trees with chainsaws and tractor with no cab. Has been a real treat because I have never gotten chilled like other oilfield parkas have failed when I got sweated up . Recently ; during the last 2 weeks I’ve been using this jacket for snowmobiling in -30 degrees for approximately 4 hours per day. The jacket kept me warm with the windchill at -45 degree. I wear the fishnet underwear; with a wool sweater on top; so the perspiration moves through the layers and through the coat. I am feeling blessed to have found this coat that works as hard as I do . I’ve worked outside in winter for over 50 years and this coat is my best one that I have ever used for working cattle; logging; and oilfield contract operating in central Alberta Canada.

Maybe a "shirt jac" for those in Alaska; however, this will keep me warm throughout the entire winter season in the Southeast. A SOLID tank of a garment that will last a lifetime. A tremendous value for a NOMEX jacket. Generous length in arms and body., high collar, internal pocket, and insulated hands pockets (nice). Thanks Wiggys.

Wore this (size Large, plain) for the first time yesterday. It was well below freezing and the shirt-jac worked like a champ. Really appreciate the placement/style of all the pockets. Built to last!
