AN INTERESTING TESTIMONIAL

I AM RESPONDING TO CHRISTOPHER IN CAPITALS.

Jerry, I placed an order for the centerline zip bag bivy late last night (and suffering instant gratification syndrome) I want to use it and post a review I see sadly lacking. THANK YOU, CHRISTOPHER, FOR DOING THAT.

I have a few questions the internet pundits have posted blatant lies in answer. 1. a bivy will add @ 10 degrees. THAT IS ABSOLUTELY A MISCONCEPTION. IF THE SLEEPING BAG IS LESS THAN ADEQUATE FOR THE TEMPERATURE THAT IT IS BEING USED FOR ADDING A BIVI WILL ADD NOTHING. To my reasoning it MAY stop an additional LOSS of heat due to wind chill (my buying point told below) but a 40 rated bag will not magically become a 30 rated bag. IT WILL NOT STOP HEAT LOSS ONLY SLOW IT DOWN. AND CORRECT IN KNOWING A 40 DEGREE BAG WILL BECOME A 30 DEGREE BAG.

2. Vapor build up. THERE WILL BE VAPOR BUILDUP IN THE BAG. There is a zombie theory about 'vapor barrier liner systems' that turn your sleep into a warm, swampy sauna. THE MOISTURE STAYS ON YOUR SKIN SURFACE. I observed an advocate crawl out soaking wet into a cold wind and literally go into shock from rapid evaporative body core heat loss within minutes. WHAT YOU OBSERVED WAS THE PERSON BECOMING VERY COLD BECAUSE THE MOISTURE FROM HIS BODY WAS ON HIS SKIN SURFACE. THAINK ABOUT GETTING OUT OF A WARM SHOWER AND COOLING QUICKLY WHEN YOU GET OUT OF THE SHOWER. I AM NOT SURPRISED ABOUT THE ACTION OF THE MOISTURE ON HIS SKIN CAUSING THE PROBLEM OF GOING INTO SHOCK.

My strategy, is to vent in the morning, remain inside until the Lamilite works its magic before frightening the horses in my fishnets.

I've been on an archaeological excavation near Edwards AFB. It dropped to 17 with 70 MPH wind gusts. I was in a heated wall tent no problem. I did go outside for an hour in just the centerline and ground pad. I realized the bag's performance was being pushed and the wind was knocking me down going inside. The break away zipper PAID off in the morning. I woke up to a very torpid rattlesnake that had slipped in and to the side of my bag. I popped out in a lot of less than 10 seconds! We used a shovel to evict the snake to the warming sunrise.

Please let me know if I am right or wrong in my thinking? HAVING READ THIS FAR YOU HAVE READ ALL OF THE ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS.

best, Christopher Kavanaugh

Maybe I should start making sleeping bags for snakes after all the others who claim to make sleeping bags are snakes in the grass, then they will be warm in Wiggy’s bags too.

Hey Jerry; in the near future we may not be seeing crappy sleeping bags coming from China!

Dr. Francis Boyle, the Creator of the US BioWeapons Act, thinks the Coronavirus is a bio weapon run amok. It was leaked from a level 4 bio weapons lab located in Wuhan. They Chinese and WHO say it originated in a wet market in Wuhan. What a coincidence!

Open the link, scrolls down a ways in the article and watch him on the 28 minute video. Real scary!

How about this for a report to be sent to me. is it possible that the virus can live on clothing from China?
