CHRISTMAS IS HERE
Today we had our Christmas luncheon after which everybody checked out to probably do their last-minute shopping. I could not find a better group of people who work at Wiggy’s.
They have done out of themselves in getting products made so we probably shipped 80 percent of the orders we received. According to my records our sales this season more than doubled any previous Christmas season.
That said this December I had opportunity to buy several thousand yards of domestically produced chemically free otherwise known as pure finish fabric. Being the only sleeping bag manufacturer in the country, I am primed at getting these nylons offered to me the end result is that I can continue to offer my products for the sale prices well into the spring of 2026. Considering the cost increases importers are already experiencing because of import taxes otherwise known as tariffs, Wiggy’s is in a good position.
Many people call or write asking how long the sale will continue and I tell them as long as I can buy first quality pure finish made in America fabric at attractive prices the sale just continues.
With me at my desk and Kok in the factory the bosses keep doing their jobs I can tell you since closing down production and letting everyone leave early one employee besides Kok and myself who is equally dedicated and continues to work is the website. We have received 6 orders during the past two hours. Shopping from home is easy. I do it. I also received a phone call from a girl going to Alaska who needs an Antarctic parka in two weeks. She was going to see the norther lights. I asked her size and she said she was small. I told her I had one of the specials a wrote about 3 weeks ago available in od. That was her choice. Regular price $360.00 now $320.00
I still have one large blue and one blue 4xl available. Call me next week or email me and I’ll call you.
Christmas has been very kind to Wiggy’s this year and I like to think it will continue to be until New Year’s Eve.
As you know I will shortly be 84 years of age and I tell my friend Marty, my primary fabric supplier, that this should have happened when I was 64. Oh well, it is what it is. I am grateful for things today.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ONE AND ALL.
