SOMETHING I HAVE NEVER DONE.

For many years I have been asked by company if they can purchase Lamilite to incorporate in their product line. If appropriate I would say yes and send them some samples that I thought appropriate. Not once has this interaction proved workable and in all cases the individuals I had spoken with never followed up with a comment saying why they now had no interest. They never even had courtesy responses for me. So, I just walked to knowing they did not have the best insulation product available. What they went with I have no knowledge.

However, I am going to show an exposé of a recent contact I received and ultimately have shown a disrespect that bothers me, therefore, I have decided to write up the sequence of events.

See the first email I received.

“We’d like to make winter boots with your material. Email me if you’re interested in collaborating.

Bearfoot”

My response was for them to call me.

Having done so I received a call from Blake [I finally knew his name]. He told me he has a friend, retired Navy SEAL I believe who told him he had a number of Wiggy products to include the boots I used to sell and with this encouragement he wrote and then called me when I gave him my phone number. I was very pleased to know where he received his information.

I proceeded to tell him my history of having boots made. In all cases the boots are made for me using the Lamilite insulation in the boots. The boots were selling very well and as I needed more units, I would order over 100 pairs at a time they suddenly stopped taking orders. They stopped taking orders because they all used goretex and because I exposed goretex as a detrimental product especially in boots [Blake agreed with me] I had to get out of the boot business.

I further told him there is a large number of men who called to get boots and were disappointed they were no longer available. The next best thing to do was wear my Lamilite socks. Another product he was interested in was the Sunwalkers.

I told him he could use the Lamilite name, and I would publicize his company in my newsletters. All men calling me I would refer to him.

I ended the conversation by telling him I would send samples of the material to him. This conversation started on Friday. Come Monday morning I put together a sample package.  The following e mail was received Friday with his address.

I wanted to call him to let him know what I was sending but did not have a phone number. I looked him up on the website and did not find a phone number. They have a question box and ask for it to no avail. Having his email address, I wrote to him asking for the number and late Monday afternoon while at my computer his email gave his phone number, so I called it and guess what he never answered. I left a message to call me, and he has chosen not too.

I do not expect that he will.

I find it interesting that he says “God Bless” suggesting he is a man of religion.

Just for the record i gave him as much sugar as possible so do not ask me what did to cause him to be as he is!!!

I find him to be despicable.
