Gore-Tex is a Marketing Gimmick Video

I received the following email this morning:

Jerry, I have been using your sleeping bags for over 25 years for winter camping and always end up with a warm, comfortable sleep. I have read many of your opinion pieces on Gore-Tex and agree with your assessment. I ran across this YouTube video recently and thought you might find it interesting. Ryan the speaker in the video is incredibly accurate in further explaining why Gore-Tex is a lie. 

Of course, he is supporting what I have been saying for years and is also shown in my video. 

At the time of this writing there were 1657 comments and, as far as I could tell, every one of them complimented Ryan and told their own story of their Gore-Tex jacket not working. 

As you will learn at the end of the video gore is now promoting as goretex urethane coated fabric. Urethane coatings to make fabric waterproof has been around for over 60 years and I have been using urethane coated nylon for years. All of my stuff sacks, rain ponchos, military style bivi BQ and waders are urethane coated materials.
