interested in being alone?

ALONE

As many of you know about this Alone program I will not explain what it is other than to say it is about people who like to brutalize themselves in order to win about $500,000.00.

My interest in the program was based upon the fact that some of my customers advised me of some of the participants using Wiggy’s bags. I thought that is great because when the chips are down at least they have a bag that WILL keep them alive.

This morning I saw a small segment of people being positioned in Mongolia. I was particularly interested in what they were wearing. I am quite sure they will ALL begin to become uncomfortable in less than a week and the women faster than the men. Why (?) because they are ALL wearing clothing that will retain ALL of the moisture that their body’s’ are giving off.

I believe they the participants simply do not know the benefits of wearing as a first layer the fishnet underwear. Viewing the area from the helicopter that transports the contestants it is all dense forest and when you are in dense forest there is significant dampness.

Years ago when I was still living in S.C. I would sometimes go into the Smoky Mountains and I learned very quickly even in summer the ground is damp and the result is a negative effect so you need more insulation, etc. I strongly suspect these contestants are facing the same situation only more so since Mongolia does get extremely cold.

As we know the fishnets allow body produced moisture to move away from the skin surface so it stays dry and initially you stay warm. I would not be surprised to find out these contestants are wearing close knit form fitting underwear that just loves the body moisture and keeps it against your skin, so you and they will ALL get a chill. It is my belief these contestants also have the mind set of looking good.

Under the circumstances of what they are doing they have a need to wear EVERY ITEM OF CLOTHING that does not attract, retain or be affected by water ever. Their primary enemy is WATER in any form. Actually water is everybody’s primary enemy when they go into the bush.

They should be wearing Lamilite liner vest, Lamilite liner jacket, have a Ducksback Alaska Range Parka shell with all three zip in liners; L-3, L-6, L-12.

They should also have Lamilite 13 inch socks, Lamilite booties, ideally Lamilite boots and definitely Lamilite over boots. And Lamilite Leg Jackets as well as Lamilite mittens and the Lamilite balaclava.

Every item I have listed is completely oblivious to water, is light in weight and individually more efficient than any similar item made by any other company in the world. All they would need is one of each item and that goes for the socks since the items do not get smelly or get stretched out of shape.

And finally the sleeping bag should be the Ultima Thule and here I recommend either the regular wide body if you are 5 feet 9 inches or shorter and the long wide body it you are taller. That way you have plenty of room in the event you wear clothing in the bag. You would then know or find out that all moisture in the clothing will dissipate as in being driven out of the bag. This occurrence is well documented for years by hundreds or possibly thousands of Wiggy bag users. If you happen to be wet as one contestant was from falling into the ocean, he survived and won the competition because he was able to get into his Super Light as I recall and get warm and dry out.

I have a pipe dream that the organizers of this competition give each contestant a recommendation list of Wiggy’s products to use for their safety.

There was a guy from southern Colorado who visited me and told me where he was going, Vancouver Island. He purchased all of the items I recommended and was happily living in the bush. He chose to quit and go home because he missed his wife. Had he decided to continue I am very sure he would have won because he was completely unstressed with what he was doing.

There is no substitute for dry clothing because dry clothing will be far more efficient at keeping you warm than not so dry clothing.
