Still Going the Slumber bag

I was going to write a testimonial but saw I had one already there from 2020. So let me add to it I use it here in Oklahoma almost every night in my house year round unless its twenty or below and then i go to the superlight. I turn down the thermostat at night so it has paid for itself many times over. What I was going to say was its still going strong after 2 years of continual use. All ought to get one there is really nothing like it elsewhere. One of those rare things that went beyond my expectations.

Great Liner Jacket.

I wear only the linear most of the time hiking almost daily in fall, winter, and spring. Comfortable temp range for me from around 28F to 40F.
I move fast enough that I can overheat in this jacket. I wear a head sock if the winds blowing extremely hard. It's seen better days. But I go through a lot of brush and even though it’s got some small holes it is working fine. Approx. 4 years old. Bought on sale and have been incredibly happy with another quality Wiggy's product. (I have many). Only gripe, it needs a couple of patch pockets. I'd pay extra.

Putting the patch pockets on increases the cost and since this garment is sold as a “liner” no pockets are needed.

WHAT I MISS

Due to my age and many of the frailties that one experiences I have not been able to go into the bush as I had been in my younger days. Hunting ended 9 years ago when I got Cookie, I would not leave her with anyone and the same goes for skiing. But there was an additional reason to stop skiing; I couldn’t ski my favorite runs, mogul fields. When I realized that my brain knew exactly where to turn but my legs wouldn’t cooperate and I did not need a broken leg.

Today when I read accounts of how well the Wiggy products perform it warms my heart. I am no longer able to go into the wilds and experience these products in the wild for myself.

Aside from that I get around in the lower level, Grand Junction is 4600 feet and am fortunate to have a business to come to each day so long as my brain does work for that purpose.

When I was sailing, I saw the elderly in south Florida wasting away and I made up my mind that would not happen to me if I lived a long time as I have so far, so I could not be happier to have some place to go each day and that sometimes includes weekends.

My advice if you want it, to young people is to think ahead to have a profession that will allow you to work as long as you can.
