LAMITIE SOCKS

Are you a soldier? Are you stationed in the cold region of the country? Do you have cold feet? If you answer yes to all three questions you need Lamilite socks. If only the second two questions apply to you and you answer yes to them, you need Lamilite socks.

On the home page is a video a fellow made and put on his u-tube channel about 5 years ago about his experience with his Lamilite socks.

If you are a soldier you have been issued wool socks and when you wear them in you goretex lined boots you find out really fast that the moisture coming out of your feet is absorbed by the wool fibers used to make the socks and it does not get out of the boots because the goretex does not breath. Goretex in boots creates a waterproof barrier to keep water out which it does but it therefore keeps the water generated by feet in the boots.

The stated experience can be related too by all those who are not in the necessarily members of the military but outdoorsman in general.

Wool socks have been promoted for as long as I can remember [83 years] and for that length of time people who live in cold regions of the country have had cold feet during the winter months.

For the past 7 years Wiggy’s has been selling Lamilite socks and our sales have steadily increased not because of advertising but because of word-of-mouth advertising. If you peruse my email newsletters, you will find many testimonials about them.

When you wear Lamilite socks you find your feet stay warm and dry because all of the moisture coming out of your feet migrates through the socks as it does our sleeping bags.

If you are in a climate where the temperatures go to -25 degrees F the over boots become a life saver. As you know cold feet are not fun. I used the mukluks when I was lost encountering temps to about -5 and my feet were worn even though I was wearing thick wool socks [Lamilite socks didn’t exist then] that were soaked,

Now is the beginning of winter and it is no time to ignore your feet. Soldiers are told to take extra socks when they go into the field. Take off one pair and 5/6 hours later the second pair is wet and there is no place to dry them.

Let that be a lesson to you as to why you do not want wool socks.
