LAMITIE SOCKS
Are you a soldier? Are you stationed in the cold region of the country? Do you have cold feet? If you answer yes to all three questions you need Lamilite socks. If only the second two questions apply to you and you answer yes to them, you need Lamilite socks.
On the home page is a video a fellow made and put on his u-tube channel about 5 years ago about his experience with his Lamilite socks.
If you are a soldier you have been issued wool socks and when you wear them in you goretex lined boots you find out really fast that the moisture coming out of your feet is absorbed by the wool fibers used to make the socks and it does not get out of the boots because the goretex does not breath. Goretex in boots creates a waterproof barrier to keep water out which it does but it therefore keeps the water generated by feet in the boots.
The stated experience can be related too by all those who are not in the necessarily members of the military but outdoorsman in general.
Wool socks have been promoted for as long as I can remember [83 years] and for that length of time people who live in cold regions of the country have had cold feet during the winter months.
For the past 7 years Wiggy’s has been selling Lamilite socks and our sales have steadily increased not because of advertising but because of word-of-mouth advertising. If you peruse my email newsletters, you will find many testimonials about them.
When you wear Lamilite socks you find your feet stay warm and dry because all of the moisture coming out of your feet migrates through the socks as it does our sleeping bags.
If you are in a climate where the temperatures go to -25 degrees F the over boots become a life saver. As you know cold feet are not fun. I used the mukluks when I was lost encountering temps to about -5 and my feet were worn even though I was wearing thick wool socks [Lamilite socks didn’t exist then] that were soaked,
Now is the beginning of winter and it is no time to ignore your feet. Soldiers are told to take extra socks when they go into the field. Take off one pair and 5/6 hours later the second pair is wet and there is no place to dry them.
Let that be a lesson to you as to why you do not want wool socks.

LINER JACKET Arguably TOO warm I've had one of these for years, it was an impulse buy when I was in Grand Junction. It is lining a North Face waterproof shell that had come with its own fleece liner that was mostly useless. This combo is insanely warm, and waterproof. I live in MO, winter temps do get [...]
THE WORD IS GETTING OUT Those are the words of Robert. I am very grateful to Robert for sending me the following attachment. The fellow who made it could not have done a better job of representing the Wiggy company. Jerry, Word is getting out on your excellent sleeping bags. For a company that relies on word of mouth for advertising, I’m happy [...]

REPRINTED FROM TEXTILE MAGAZINE WEEKLY NEWSLETTER Keep in mind as you read this article written by the primaloft group is that every product they talk about is made from “chopped staple polyester fiber”. It is irrelevant what they say about their products’ ability to work, they all work if you want to call it that; the [...]
Understanding Ayn Rand’s Perspective on Freedom Ayn Rand, the Russian-American philosopher and novelist, remains one of the most divisive figures in modern political thought. Her philosophy of Objectivism champions individual liberty, rational self-interest, and the rejection of collectivism. Among her many bold statements, one stands out as a succinct definition of liberty: “Freedom is the power [...]
Ayn Rand’s Case against Tariffs By Allen Gindler In the annals of literary and philosophical provocation, few figures loom as large as Ayn Rand. Born in 1905 in Russia, Rand witnessed the Bolshevik Revolution’s assault on individual liberty firsthand, an experience that forged her into a fierce advocate for capitalism and personal freedom. Her philosophy, Objectivism, champions reason, self-interest, and [...]
BLOWS ME AWAY That is the new basketball scandal. After high school I graduated in 1959 a friend of mine went to NC State on scholarship since he was a standout player. In 1962 I believe the collage basketball scandal was exposed and he was one of the players taking $1000.00 per game. His career ended. There were [...]
PrimaLoft introduces most technical insulation ever The first thing to keep in mind is that primaloft has never been an acceptable insulation, in my opinion. They are a joke!!! 23/10/2025 Insulation specialist PrimaLoft has developed a new range, UltraPeak, presented as the warmest insulation it has ever made. [Having looked at the picture of this new insulation I [...]
v BERRY AMENDMENT “The U.S. Senate adopted its version of the NDAA Oct. 9. The Senate’s version did not include language to eliminate the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) level under the Berry Amendment. The SAT allows the purchase of foreign-made military textiles for Department of War contracts below $150,000. The House’s version, however, did.” I was under the [...]
