I was amazed to receive the number of condolence letters about Cookie’s passing. It numbered in the dozens. All have been so gracious to me and Cookie it has been heartwarming. I am struggling to give you thanks.
A note about Cookie
Cookie was a gluten for attention. When someone came into the showroom she would bark, that is actually the only time she barked. If you pet her right way, she stopped. If you didn’t pet her right way, she continued to bark and stood next to you sniffing you until I told you to pet her and then she stopped barking. Now when you stopped petting her she would stare at you with her large penetrating eyes wanting to know why you stopped.
Her picture is over my left shoulder and she watched me responding to each and every one of you and she was thanking you for the attention you have paid her.
I have always found the right words to express my self in my articles, I hope I have here.
I miss her dearly
