Upcoming fall-winter 2019 experience mixes body-camera and captured footage with behind-the-scenes manufacturing insight, to show why all Gore-Tex products are tested to the limits.

Elkton, MD, October 1, 2019—W. L. Gore and Associates (Gore) revolutionized the outerwear industry when it invented waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX fabrics more than 40 years ago.

WRONG gore never invented a waterproof and breathable fabric. Some tried before them and failed as they have as have all those who have followed gore. So, as you can see gore has LIED for 40 years about inventing something that CAN NOT BE DONE!!!

Today, it remains a leading innovator of performance apparel, and it’s now enlisting athletes, influencers and brand ambassadors for the latest incarnation of its TESTED FOR LIFE series.

WRONG again they have never ever innovated performance apparel. They can publicize all they want “tested for life” and if so they will find out what every person who has purchased a goretex or any other brand of so called waterproof/breathable garment it does not work for the life of the garment because it didn’t work to begin with when the garment was born.

A mix of body-camera and crewed footage documents the adventures and excursions of mountaineers Tamara Lunger, Robert Jasper and Hirotaka Takeuchi, freerider Greg Hill and world-class runner Daniel Jung, while the city photographer Jennifer Bin – famed for her images of skyscrapers and rooftops—appears to put performance apparel to the test in two urban and lifestyle stories.

I do not know who these people are other than the fact that they are gore employees. And you can bet they will or probably have stated that the goretex works. They are therefore LYING through their teeth. If these garments made with goretex or whatever doesn’t work for me or the rest of humanity how can it work for these people; it can’t, and it doesn’t.

Throughout each story, viewers follow the athletes through their difficult and sometimes life-threatening pursuits, to show how all GORE-TEX products are designed and engineered to withstand whatever life throws our way. These unique, personal stories are interspersed with behind-the-scenes footage of the brand’s rigorous testing processes, to affirm why and how it refines its various GORE-TEX product technologies.

Since I have not seen the video I do not know what they are saying, but I do know they can’t say they are experiencing their sweat going through whatever they are wearing and condensing on the outside of the garment, why BECAUSE IT CANNOT HAPPEN.

Of course, the behind the scenes testing is taking place in their $15,000,000.00 laboratory.

The experience continues GORE-TEX’s TESTED FOR LIFE ‘Tryout’ activation, which began in 2018 and invites regional athletes and influencers to share their own tests of the GORE-TEX GUARANTEED TO KEEP YOU DRY and the new GORE-TEX INFINIUM products. TESTED FOR LIFE also invites audiences to ‘Tryout’ their favorite GORE-TEX products with their own lives, with the best video submissions then published across the GORE-TEX brand’s own social channels worldwide.

The proof exists and has for 40 plus years that goretex DOES NOT keep one dry while wearing a goretex lined jacket or boots, but what does exist is proof that you will be wet when you wear a goretex jacket or boots. Also, i do not know of anyone who has stepped to the front claiming that goretex works and if one does then the one or more are liars.

Achim you have never ever worn a goretex lined garment because if you did you would know it does not do what you are paid to claim it does. Or maybe you are nothing less than a complete idiot. Tested from the top of the mountain to the city means nothing since the body moisture of the person wearing a goretex lined garment will be WET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOT IT!

The global online platform gore-tex.com provides additional information on GORE-TEX products, and how they test the limits in the real world, highlighting stories that demonstrate the determination of individuals to overcome daily obstacles and barriers. Gore NEVER has been an innovator of performance apparel no matter how often and many times they look in the mirror and say it. Goretex fabrics do NOT “do not provide comfort and protection in challenging environments in everyday life” and if one believes this, they are probably on the gore payroll.

I keep telling myself I won’t react to this stuff, but your commentaries just have so much provocative things in them that I can’t resist.

This time I’m amazed at any company that is proposing to plant an 8,000 km Green Wall of Trees across Africa. That tells me the company doesn’t know any more about Africa than you say they know about fabrics and insulation. If those nimrods would bother to go to Africa and talk to folks, it wouldn’t take them more than a few days to realize any trees they might plant will be cut down and used for firewood/charcoal immediately. A few days spent visiting (if they’re allowed to) the former white-owned farms in Zimbabwe, South Africa, and the formerly wooded areas of places like Somalia, Congo, and so forth would open their eyes to what the locals do regarding chopping down trees.

Thickest, warmest, and heaviest bag I've ever had. Probably twice as thick as my old military modular sleep system bag I had.
