I’ve been wearing your taller boots for a while but just opened the Chukka box (think I bought them a couple years ago) and have been wearing them the past few months. OMG!!! This is the absolute most comfortable boot I have worn. My feet have been on a vacation since I began wearing these.

As is typical for the Intermountain West, I have been in temps of the high 80s and in Wyoming with it below zero in this time frame. Adjectives escape me. Five stars. Top shelf. Awesome.

I’ve been wearing them at home and on the hill. Doesn’t matter, these are superior boots at any elevation.

I know the answer, but you don’t know anyone who hoarded any NIB size 12s who would part with them do you? Cause I need another couple pair for backup.

These are my new boots for early archery elk season. I wish I opened the box two years ago.

And the tv blanket I received is off the chart perfect. For those who don’t have one, you don’t know what you’re missing: light, comfortable, effective, and totally washable.

Your products always impress me.

JT unfortunately for you the answer is no. All who have purchased them in all sizes have had the same experience as you.

Receiving a testimonial about my boots was completely unexpected since it has been almost two years that I have walked from having boots made for me. Maybe now that the boot makers who have had to review what they are doing in China will give them pause to consider what they could do in the USA and maybe look into the use of Lamilite insulated linings in their boots and of course eliminating the use of goretex.

If they do as I would like to see they too will receive testimonials as I have.

NOW A COMMENT ON THE JOB MARKET

This morning I read the following headlines;

1-Zara parent to close 1200 stores and invest $3 billion in e-commerce. They are clothing retail shops.

2-starbucks closing 400 stores, to open newer stores with innovative formats. (probably digital).

3-signet jewelers closing nearly 400 stores some permanently while giving online services a boost.

4-dick’s sporting goods investing in technology

5-jc penny is closing 154 stores (I think they are holding on by the skin of their teeth, its just a matter of time before they go belly up)

At this moment in time the job market has been in decline since early 2019 in my opinion, the decline was accelerated because of the pandemic. That is the reason these stores are closing and they are looking at how they can use the new electronic methods of staying in business.

I am sure there are many more large corporations doing the same, looking at electronic methods of doing business.

The question I ask is how many people will lose their jobs? Many thousands!

This is a big concern to me because many of these people could be customers of mine.

When these companies go electronic or with automation the need of as many people is radically reduced and with digital work they may go to India or elsewhere.

On top of all the people without jobs we have more people coming into the country looking for a better way of life as my family did in the late 1890’s. I am glad they did come here because had I been born in Russia I would not have had the opportunity to do as I have done.

Aside from saying we need jobs for people here and how that will be accomplished will take some time, how long I do not know.

We will see what we see, it could happen in the boot business because from what I have seen in the manufacture of boots automation can only do so much then you need lots of people.
