A WONDERFUL TESTIMONIAL
Wiggy,
After reading the letter from Joni, I had to respond.
If it's not broken, the US government will fix it until it is. Apparently, we are not alone in this endeavor.
I recently bought two sleeping bags from your fine company. They proved be better than advertised, and beyond my wildest expectations.
My wife and I camped primitive style in April. Mil-spec paracord, a tarp, a ground pad of pine needles, and two NEW Wiggy's!
From northern New Mexico to the Oregon coast, back into the mountains of Idaho, Utah and Nevada, we were like two bugs in a rug.
We were warm, dry, and most important of all, my wife was happy too!
Thank you, and God bless!
Sincerely,
The famous author, Anonymous
I do not know currently the bags they have since I am not in the office to check the files nor does the author give temperatures experienced. However, I will speculate they have Ultra-Lights or Super Light bags since they were camping starting in April and camping primitive suggests to me, they were Super Lights most likely. But they were Wiggy’s bags none the less.
Of all the good things said the one that stands out the most for me is that his wife was also happy.
I am asked by women if I make a woman specific bag and the answer is always no. I follow up with the fact that you (the woman) need a lower temperature rated bag than a man because you do not produce as much heat since you have less muscle mass.
This is not necessarily equitable; you need the heavier weight bag which is a few dollars more. But when you are out in the field you will always appreciate sleeping because you are warm. On occasion a woman will tell me she is a cold sleeper, so I ask if she has really slept when she was cold, and the answer is always; no. I then tell her as I have on many occasions told men there are no cold sleepers, just cold people in these “no sleep sleeping bags”.
Guys if your wife or girl friend is reluctant to go into the field with you because of prior experience of being cold in a sleeping bag; it is time to get her a Wiggy’s bag.
