The Ducksback sounds like it would work great in the construction of a light weight wall tent "water resistant" "breathable" no more condensation inside the tent. Your products are exactly what I have searched for years. I love camping and Hate freezing at night while trying to sleep. The single bivy tent is something I am interested in immensely. I like the idea of basically a surround around my head pre-heating the air I breathe at night while sleeping. I am to use to sleeping at home and notice cold below 50 degrees. I have bought the BS sleeping bags from your competitors and now after watching your videos understand why I freeze at night- I was wasting my money on lies- "NO MORE"! You Sir Jerry Wigutow have reignited my passion for sleeping outdoors knowing I will be comfortable in all temps and weather...The best breathe of fresh air I have gotten in a long time. And I like the no BS explanation of your products made in the USA.

I have stayed away from making tents and will not consider a wall tent either. I thought his comment “freezing at night while trying to sleep” in other brands of bags called sleeping bags is very telling. Obviously he did not sleep as I believe very few do. Like I have said for years and confirmed here I quote; “I was wasting my money on lies”. Yes I have stated for years to buy any other sleeping bag is a waste of money! And finally one more person who likes a Made in America product!

GANDER OUTDOORS AND ELECTRICALLY HEATED COLD WEATHER STUFF

One of my readers sent me an email showing action 360 heated gloves, socks, jackets and vests. Gander is owned by a company that owns a large distribution network of RV locations who bought the out of business firm of Gander outdoors or something like that. Now they have enough knowledge of the outdoor market to think they know that electrically heated garments are somehow good products. They did not do any research to find out that all electrically heated garments are flash in the pan products. But there will always be someone to waste money on these trash products.

One more time some company comes up with a method or way for people to stay warm all to no avail.it seem to me that the need for warm clothing is a primary but the companies that offer products really do not know what is necessary for clothing to have the ability to keep the wearer of the clothing warm and when you offer an explanation to them they truly do not comprehend what they are being told.

The human body(the heating plant) with proper quantities of food (the fuel)will heat up, however, what is put over the body MUST have a level of insulation that acts to trap the heat and when that is done the human body’s thermostat will slow down the amount of fuel that is being consumed, But the insulation installed in the garments must have a certain level of thickness that heat cannot be conducted through and companies that offer an electrical heating system do not use secondary insulation. They do not believe their electrical hearing mechanism will not die. It will and it does and when that happens your comfort and possibly life are affected in a negative manner; i.e. you get cold.

If you took the time to educate the buyer at Gander all talk would fall on deaf ears because like all of the buyers at all of the retail stores around the country are equally deficient with respect to their intelligence and comprehension of what is necessary in a garment that will actually keep a person warm. But if you have a catchy fashion presentation they eat it up. And all of the catchy fashion garments are very slim fitting as are the garments that Gander is offering to further guarantee that the garments they are selling that are electrified will definitely not keep one warm unless of course you are located in Key West Florida in July.

So a big thank you goes the David for sending me the “temp 360” information from the Gander web site. I expect come January Gander will have a dramatic sale to get rid of the unsold inventory.
