I absolutely love these sleeping bags. I got my first Wiggy’s bag at the mcss on ledward barracks in Germany. Had that bag through 44 months of combat in Kosovo Afghanistan and Iraq. That bag kept me warm through the harshest weather the Hindu Kush could throw at me and it never failed me. Unfortunately someone decided they needed the bag more than I did and they stole it. Just a reminder to all military personnel, active or retired, in 1993 I created the original two bag sleep system for the Marines. Two months later I received a call from the SEALS. The SEALS have ordered my bags primarily ever since then and the failure rate has been zero. Others they have ordered the failure rate is 100 percent. As for the Marines and the big Army they bastardized my sleep system and their failure rate is also 100 percent. They have modified it about 6 times with the same result.

It has not made one iota difference to them how many soldiers have had the same experience with the Wiggy’s system the powers to be that make the decisions about this piece of equipment blatantly refuse to understand and accept what does work. They would be shocked if they actually knew the numbers of military personnel who use my bags.

As for them learning, yes they have learned, but implementation that is another subject for another time.

ANNOUNCEMENT

A customer Charles H. called and asked if the Ducksback material was suitable for use with the Single Person Bivi Bag. After some discussion I agreed with him that it did have purpose that would be beneficial. the up shot of the discussion was that I will make the SPBS two ways. One with the L-6 Lamilite as it is presently made but without the waterproof fly. that makes it lighter in weight and easier to use. The other model will not have the Lamilite which will make even lighter and less expensive.

I do have to work out the costs but in both cases it will be less expensive that the current model which is being replaced. 

So one more time I have been given an idea that is resulting in not one but two new products. so thank you Charles H.
